The Archos PMA430 has a 30GB hard drive and runs on an OMAP. Whether you'd 
call it an _embedded_ device I don't know, but if not, then a Zaurus isn't 
one, either ;)

I  second that. It depends however how much power drain you can stand. I'd say 
that a 32MB SDRAM draws around 3-4 mA in self-refresh, and you have the rest 
of the board, plus the CPU, if it does not allow to be completely powered 
down.
