  So far no crash here...  I did everything I could think of with a standard
mailbox ranging in size from 0 to 2000 messages threaded and non-threaded
views.  I am updating kmail from cvs right now.  I'll post again with the
results from that.  This code I have now is about a week old.

   Note that I haven't updated any other part of kde in a long time now.  at
least a month....  The crashes could be kdelibs related.
