Hello Bob,

If I may throw my 2 cents worth in here :-)

The information you have given above certainly does work and I thank you
for it but I think Haken does have a point.

On my F8 system, Kaddressbook 3.5.6 on KDE-3.5.8-7.fc8 Fedora, clicking
'File' --> 'New' --> 'Distribution List' does *absolutely* nothing. The
same occurs if I click on the toolbar icon for 'New Distribution List'
and it doesn't matter if I have the distribution list editor showing or
not.

I can create a new distribution list from the distribution list editor
itself *after* I set Kaddressbook to show it all the time.

Once the distribution list is created I can see it and select it and
edit it etc. but the above behaviour is a little less than intuitive. I
don't believe that it should be necessary to have the distribution
editor showing all the time before being able to create a new
distribution list. It *should* come up when either the tool bar icon or
the file --> new --> distribution list is clicked.

Once one is aware of this feature of Kaddressbook all works well.

Thanks again for your information.
