the vertical/horizontal aligment respects your sort setting (by name, type, 
whatever). more to the point: how would seperating the actions from settings 
change anything?

this is exactly what happens if you select the same the same line up option 
more than once (e.g. go to "line up vertically" and then "line up vertically" 
again). if you call the same alignment twice it simply calls lineupIcons() 
... if you change the direction, it sets the direction to whatever you picked 
and then calls the rearrange method (which orders by name, etc..)

there was a problem in a previous commit in that i had made 
horizontal/vertical radio actions, which was wrong because the user will want 
to line up their icons repeatedly.

so cvs update and take a look: the behaviour is exactly equivelant to what it 
was previously. only now the settings aren't scattered all over god's green 
earth, and actions and settings are combined (exactly as they are with 
rearrangement, btw..)
