yes... which is why it should be replaced with something good, ala what you 
are moving towards ...

because kmail is the only app that sends emails? of course not. selecting 
email addresses often/usually means having a need for cc and bcc, but you are 
dead on about allowing the app to control the availability of all three 
entries, as well as whether it should be multiple or single address...

regardless, they need to brought in on this discussion as they are the 
devels/maintainers of the code you will be touching. at the same time i'd be 
highly surprised if they don't recommend it living in libkabc =)
