Claudia is keeping an event calendar, sync with her about those so we get them
in one place and can coordinate better.

Speaking at events is a good way to reach many people with relatively little
manpower. Most events I know are very welcoming talks about KDE4, we got
interesting things to show, and it's all very visual and not too abstract,
that makes good "fun" talks.

I think being visible is key to building a stronger community. Doing events is
a good way to get to know people that might become part of the community.
Also, just encouraging existing people in the community who are near you to
come along usually works well, I've seen many who wouldn't have thought that
they're welcome without being explicitely invited.

As to donations, we're currently widening the supporting membership programme
for individuals. That means donating could well happen in the form of a
membership (basically costs you 100 euro-bucks / year).

Creating a budget makes it easy for the KDE e.V. to support these activities,
so yeah ... good idea.

During the board meeting, we are planning for a boothbox light, something that
can easily be carried and sent around, and that has a bit of demo stuff to do
a basic booth. Also, we do have budget for such things. Two things are
important when looking at that:

- the sooner we (KDE e.V.), the better, makes our financial planning easier
- increasing visibility of KDE in N-A is very important for us

So ... let's rock :)
