The difference is that on Donovan's system, he is able to utilize
the system as user 'root' or 'donovan'. It is only when user 'candice'
logs on that the keyboard problem occurs. This leads me to believe
that USB support was not at fault. I aktually ran into this problem
way back when I was using FC2 with self compiled KDE 3.something.
