FYI, LocFactoryEditor [1] on MacOSX also handles PO/POT, plus  
creating and applying compendia, in addition to XLIFF (including  
TMX), XML/DocBook, HTML and Appleglot. I've been using it for some  
time now, and recommend it highly.
