As I already said: a big percentage of these problems has to do with
un-initialized variables. These problems show up on some platforms
but remain silent on other platforms for a long-time, but not forever.
Could you try to check this code for un-initialized variables?
Unfortunately I don't have any good memory checker like Purify
or Insure++ under Tru64 :-(
