i think it's a matter of visibility. i'm considering adding text to the k menu 
button, actually... which would stretch it out on smaller panels. not sure 
how i'll handle it on larger panels yet because it looks like crap there ;) 
but i'll figure something out, i'm sure. or someone will. heh.
