Hi,

I agree that it wouldn't be a good idea to try to guess what the user wants.
But that does not imply we should not have media automounting facilities.

Of course this should be part of the underlying system, but as this is a
wanted feature and there is a way to make it, why not?

It should also be configurable enough for the user to decide on wheter he
wants a default action being executed every time (like opening a Konqueror
window for data discs) or a list of options (i. e., everytime a disc is
inserted, the user would be presented a dialog asking wheter he wants to
browsw it using konqueror, execute autorun.sh, rip the cd if it is an audio
one, etc.).

Imho the point matthias wieser wanted to point out is that you don't know
wether the user wants to install the game or just inserte the cd because the
game needs data-files on it to run...
