again: Before serious contribution can start we should know about the 
planned contents of this book.

As soon as the raw table of contents is there volunteers could apply
for writing part of this or that chapter...

Of course it is great that Brad is ready to contribute a part of the
scripting chapter already but still: to avoid duplicate work we *should*
make a decision about the TOC and have a raw version of it somewhere
published.

That people think it should be _you_, Ralf, to take the next step might
result from the fact that it was you wrote
   "Hi,

    I'll now proceed in writing a new KDE development book."
in your mail starting this thread on 18.07.2003 08:01.
