nice! :)

thoughts:

"Baloo is not a new project but a continuation of Nepomuk"

would it make sense to position Baloo as a new engine for Nepomuk? that would
clearly communicate their relationship as well as imply it is a continuation,
without overtly implying it might be a rewrite ;) rewrites are scary, after
all; new engines are shiny! ;)

i love the four focus points you outlined.

my first thought is that instead of saying "better" perhaps it could say *what*
is better and leave the word "better" out of it .. this lets people come to
"better" in their own mind and then you aren't convincing them it is better,
they are agreeing it is better.

in the case of simpler code, perhaps lead with benefit rather than explanation

e.g.:

* Faster indexing
* Searches are faster and return more accurate results
* More robust as single points of failure were removed
* Easier to develop and maintain in the future due to a simplified, clear code
base

this is exactly what you wrote (i think the points are great), but just
inverted to focus on benefit. i'd also shift the "easier to develop and
maintain" to end of the list because:

* it speaks to the smallest audience
* it becomes the perfect bridge to a "so get involved today!" bit at the end
of the article
