Subject:    Bug#2420: X-server crash: after suspend on Dell CPi D266XT laptop

Dear KDE developpers,

1) after a suspend of my Dell laptop, X-windows has crashed. I include
'startx', 'XF86Config' and the server output ('X.err.crash'). I run Suse
6.2

2) The error file .X.err was growing in an endless loop.

3) My desktop is now 'damaged', i.e. I have only 2 virtuel screens
(instead of 4),
   also the titles of the screens (Desk 1, Desk 2, ...) have
disappeared.
