--- Comment #7 from Sebastian Vöcking <kde@voecking.net> ---
I am having the same issue with kdeconnect on Arch. I did a little research on
this and uncommented the line 53 in kded/daemon.cpp and got this:
kded(23417)/kdeconnect_kded Daemon::Daemon: QCA supported capabilities:
"random,md5,sha1,keystorelist,pgpkey,openpgp"
But at the same time I noticed that kded crashed. And this crash is perfectly
reproducable. While debugging this I could get this backtrace:
#5 0x0000000000021236 in ?? ()
#6 0x00007fdff3dd2bd4 in qt_plugin_instance () from
/usr/lib/qt4/plugins/crypto/libqca-ossl.so

This looks like a problem with Arch's qca to me which would explain that you
can't see it as you have built it from git.
And if I remember correctly I saw some kded4 crashes related to QCA earlier
when I tried to get kdeconnect running. But I could never reproduce it
properly. On the other hand I am also pretty sure that I at least once saw a
correct output of QCA's supported capabilities. This library really seems to
act inconsistent.
Any ideas? I would try to get a backtrace out of qca next. Maybe this would
turn up something.
