Summary: Reversed chars while connecting to Windows XP x64 remote
                    desktop
           Product: krdc
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: lee.jaison gmail com
        ReportedBy: kde fastdruid co uk

Version: 3.5.0-5 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Connecting from x86 based SuSE 10 (kernel 2.6.13-15-default) celeron 2400 based \
machine via krdc to a Windows x64 and/or Windows Server 2003 (std edn) remote \
desktop. I Have not got a 'Plain' Windows XP machine to test connection to see if the \
same behavior is repeated.

Desktop size is 1024x768 on both desktops but same behaviour repeated at 640x480 and \
800x600 (remote desktop sizes) and 8,16 and 24bit colour depth.

Certain letters are reversed/mirrored on the windows desktop/apps and even on the \
windows login box.

eg Lee looks like Jee
This does this even in the windows login box, again L looks like J and t is reversed \
in all the text of the box.

As well as this sometimes letters flip while typing,

eg renaming a file to something with a 'L' in the name and when you type the letter L \
it may flip to looking more like a 'J', then when the next letter is typed flip back \
to being the right way round.

I've noticed the problem on the following letters

L t r J

and the chars
`,?

But some letters seem to do it at some sizes and not others so there may be more.

Tried updating to kdenetwork3-vnc-3.5.0-5 but this version still does the same.

Same behaviour is *NOT* repeated when using windows XP and the MS remote desktop to \
connect. A screenshot of chars the wrong way round taken via rdc and pasted into \
mspaint corrects the letters. A screenshot taken via linux of the kdrc window shows \
the letters reversed. Same programs (ie using same fonts etc) running on the linux \
machine are correct (IE and DC++ under wine). Screenshots and examples are available.
100% reproducable, does it every time.
