I used Menu Editor today and tried to move up the Gimp icon from its original low \
position in the "Graphics" folder of my start menu. I simply selected the icon with \
my mouse and dragged it two or three steps up. The "Apply" button stayed grayed out \
so I had not way to save the new position of the Gimp icon. I exited Menu Editor, \
checked my menu and GIMP was on its old spot. I tried the same with other icons, I \
even tried to move icons as root but nothing worked. Thanks,
