i would rather see it split that way:

- output devices (display drivers, mouse cursors, display setup, rendering,
OpenGL)
- input devices (keyboards, mice, tablets, touch screens)
- X11 core (security, X11 protocoll, GUI coding, fonts, other internals)

at least that is the cut which i would do by my limited knowledge and
interests.
