Ok, so let's go the KDE4 way route. First we/you need to check out the
kdelibs4_snapshot from svn and try to compile it with cmake. I think
you need cmake from CVS. If we succeed with this, we should try to
build kdevelop. If it works, we have something to work with. :-)

I really hope we will have a good progress then.

Yes, but I don't see any other real possibility. I try to follow the
changes in kdelibs and the whole KDE4 architecture and I realize that
if we don't start early enough we will be way behind.
But we will not disappear from the planet as:
- 3.5.x releases will appear in the future as well
- we plan to announce the kdewebdev hotstuff server really soon.

Hotstuff is one of my current task, and I'm already late with a week
compared to my plans, mostly because of hardware problems. I had a
memory failure, but I didn't realize from the start and spent lot of
time trying to fix my system, as I thought the stability problems were
caused by an upgrade of the OS. :-( So now I'm waiting for the
replacement memory, and until it arrives I have less memory in my PC. I
was also away for some days to visit my mother in law.
Anyway, I hope to have the hotstuff server working this week and
announce it next week.

Andras
