Maybe true for you big Sony laptop folks, but my R505TS's fan makes hellva
lot of noise, by far the most noise I've heard from a laptop of any kind,
once it kicks in.  It changes RPMs depending on CPU usage so it can get a
bit annoying, I'm used to it now but it is very noticeable.
