This page should be updated to take into account Kate 3.X. At present, it's:

Choose your Kate version
Kate 2.2 and older
Kate 2.3
Kate 2.4
Kate 2.5

So change the actual katepart/syntax/ folder for kdelibs/kate/syntax/ ?
