Since I switched to Edgy at work now, I can only wait and see if it
still happens...

But it happened at home too (Dapper), so it is just a crash on save
from Kate (KDE 3.5.4), and a nasty one (losing data), not really
related to anything else in the end.

I'll see what I can do, but really, I don't use Kate that much at home.
