Summary: Ruby syntax highlighting - division expressions get
                    parsed as regexps
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: elliot.winkler gmail com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

There is a slightly annoying bug in the Ruby syntax highlighting that causes \
everything after the / in a division expression to be parsed as a regular expression, \
if there are no spaces between the dividend, operator, and divisor. For instance, in \
this line:

percentage = diff/(diff+total)
                 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
this is seen by Kate as a regexp
