What's the tradeoff in terms of complexity and maintenance? Judging from your

Slightly off-topic, but related to your contact list refactor, please make it 
possible to reuse the widget in the chat window for multi-person chats. The 
listview that's currently used there is suboptimal at best. However, to allow 
such a thing it must be possible to have multiple instances of the list view, 
and the view in a multi-person chat is different from the main list in that 
it contains different (meta)contacts, i.e. only the chat members.
