then the font you chose for fixed font rendering does not contain that character.
KDE 3 will have a workaround for that.

Hello all great kde coders,

here is a small display bug :
the &lambda; char is not displayed in a <pre> environment :

For example :
<pre>
MaineFarmer = [Farmer: &lambda;]-&gt;(Loc)-&gt;[State: Maine].
</pre> 

Doesn't display lambda.
However, lambda displays well in a non-pre environment.
