Subject: Konqueror occasionnally "ignores" clicks on links
From: kde@alk.org.lu

Package: khtml
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 -1)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.13-0.3
OS/Compiler notes:

Recently, I noticed that clicking on links in konqueror has become increasingly \
difficult. On clicking, link turns red, or is circled with a dotted line, but the \
browser doesn't go there. Next time I try it is ok again. Unfortunately the problem \
is not reproducable. It happens more often when middleclicking than with \
leftclicking. For some time I thought it was a mouse problem (I have an old \
two-button Compaq mouse, with Emulate3Buttons), but then I realize that the browser \
does react (change color of link, display dotted square), just not in the way I \
expect (go to the linked page).

The problem only happens at my RedHat box at work. No such problem on my SuSE box at \
home (which has a wheel mouse).
