In the texthshape  (aka plugin) I already implement the saving by calling 
a method on kotext.  Its not really at a well thought out class, but I 
think that most, if not all, of the ODF functionality should be reachable 
in the kotext module.
I guess a new class with some setters and a 'save' or 'load' method will 
be a good idea for that.
