That's what I hoped was going on, but as you say, it's a bit hard to
visually check. ^_^

The question is whether each of the paragraphs in the first test case
really should start with a space -- if so, then OO.o is wrong and we
should stop stripping leading literal space. But we should probably
still keep the "don't save literal leading or trailing space" code, so
that we are at least _compatible_.
