Not if that means re-layouting the document without the user's consent though,
obviously. That's ok for kedit, but not for kword.

Right there could be a warning, but that's not really what you wanted anyway,
that's not the same as actually using those values.

Right (or simply modifying the default template).

Hence the solution of modifying the template (which in fact creates a local
copy in ~/.kde).
