Hello,
I'm developing a digital-signage application using KDE, KOffice, Kaffeine and
Korundum as the building blocks.
To put it simple it's like a movie player with a playlist, only it is able to
"play" slideshows (using KPresenter KPart), movies (using Kaffeine KPart) and
web pages (using KHTML).
My problem is I need to know when a slideshow has finished to load the next
element in the playlist.
The simplest way I can come with is calculate the duration of the slideshow
and have a timer in my software. When the timer reaches the slideshow
duration, I load the next element in the playlist.
Is there a better way to do this?
Thank you.
