Old misunderstandings rearing their ugly head agian.  Java was one of the
first languages I learnt in any depth.

Like I said I dont know the details but I did know enough to realise
that might be a potential problem and I was hoping someone more
knowledgable might know one way or the other (or somebody might be willing
to try it out).

Isn't that a seperate problem though?
Might there be any wider impact on koconverter?

I guess I'll go ahead and file a bug report so we at least have somewhere
to keep track of this discussion.
