Hi

Will certainly be on the channel from time to time, sometimes on #koffice.

I thought kexi was using cql as its internal db?

Im not bothered about the api changing, i keep my cvs copy up to date now
and then

I do have a major problem at the moment, the mysql driver creates
kexidbfield objects instansiated with the tablename....this uses a mysql c
function that returns the table name of a files in a result.....the
postgres c library has no such function. Does kexi not know the table
names ass it handles the querying? what suggestion do you have for this
problem as it breaks a few things in the driver. Other information that
the mysql c library has functions for such as details field info i can get
by querying the postgresql system catalog tables (there is no c function
for this either) but it depends on knowing the table the field came
from. o this is quite a big problem for me at the moment.

And i definitely agree that kexi should work with postgres as the way i see
it 'why use mysql when you can use postgresql' :o)

Oh and would it be possible to get the kexi headers installed with a make
install? ideally my driver would go into cvs but i dont think its ready for
that yet.
