!? Maybe you have no msword filter anymore, due to the lack of wv2?

Right. Note that the 2nd is something different (Write), and the 3rd is not used
at the moment.

Maybe your local copy had some cruft in it?
What happened exactly?

The msword import filter has
X-KDE-Import=application/msword
Ah, the old filter also had application/vnd.ms-word, in case we switch one day
to that one. Is that the mimetype that was detected for you?
