Hi Michael,

Sorry to hear about the duplicated effort :-(. As for RTF, various people at 
various times have expressed interest in working on them, and I even think I 
recall that someone actually started. But that was many months ago, and 
since noone has submitted anything, I'm glad your are interested in picking 
it up.

I would recommend waiting until after the holidays, just in case someone can 
give you their half-completed code!!
