I haven't written any "real" code in a few years.  I finally got around
trying to install KOffice a couple of weeks ago, and it was basically
painless.  I've seen some bad reports since then that I hear are related to
recent large changes that haven't been fully dealt with, but the 09-22
snapshots at least were fine for me, at least install wise.  I've not had a
lot of chance to make actual use of them yet.
