Yes, it's quite probable nobody compiled it against an old Qt, so this kind of 
mistakes slips in. We don't have a build farm, just our (that is, the 
developers', personal machines), and we haven't gotten reports from the 
distributions because no distribution still ships 3.3.0.

Which doesn't mean that we shouldn't either fix the code or update the 
requirements, of course (or both).

Which bug number is that? I couldn't find any bug associated with your email 
address or a likely summary line.

Well, there isn't a whole lot of people who use KDE 3.3.0 and even fewer who 
try to do their own compiling... But if someone closed your report as invalid 
he probably made another mistake.
