Yes, it's quite probable nobody compiled it against an old Qt, so this kind=
 of=20
mistakes slips in. We don't have a build farm, just our (that is, the=20
developers', personal machines), and we haven't gotten reports from the=20
distributions because no distribution still ships 3.3.0.

Which doesn't mean that we shouldn't either fix the code or update the=20
requirements, of course (or both).

Which bug number is that? I couldn't find any bug associated with your emai=
l=20
address or a likely summary line.

Well, there isn't a whole lot of people who use KDE 3.3.0 and even fewer wh=
o=20
try to do their own compiling... But if someone closed your report as inval=
id=20
he probably made another mistake.
