OK, I think the matter is clearing up.
Please note that in the KOffice-1.3-betas more units have been made available,
among which pica, didot and cicero.

Pica is 12th of a point, cicero is a tiny bit less (1/12.84), and didot is even
much smaller than that (1/154th of a point).

Do those units address your need?
