Actually, I think that most laser printers are PCL based.

As I suspected, you have NO IDEA what I am talking about.

The resolution of most laser printers is 75*N DPI.  That is: 150 DPI, 300
DPI, 600 DPI, 1200 DPI, etc.

PostScript ALWAYS uses 72nds of an inch as its measuring system, but that
has NOTHING to do with the resolution of the image that appears on the paper.
