I'm one who write the latex filter. What features are missing for you ?
You use koffice 1.2.1, I think ?

Yes, I use 1.2.1 but not the latex filter. I just print the drawing on a .ps (I tried \
with .pdf too) file and use that in the latex (lyx) file. The aspect of the drawing \
is very 'coarse' looks like 300 dpi when printed, and it is antialiased too (drawing \
and fonts) so that the overall effect looks bad.
