Big one (7Mb-10MB) - no problem :-)
As about small file - I guess I need to reduce one of existing presentations
in some way. [I will do it today or tomorrow].
Usually all PowerPoint presentations have a lot of graphics (embedded), so
most likely this causes a lot of troubles.

| No. Many people have said that they would, but no code so far...

| That's exactly what the current filter does when it works. It extracts
| the text, and puts them on a set of slides. At the moment, it always seems
| to create two extra slides at the beginning (possibly related to the master
| layouts?) but that is a rather benign "bug".

In fact I tried on two kind of presentations - from the company where my wife
works, and from the company where I work (plus old ones from my archive)
And import filter was crashing, so basically I gave up on further testing.

but, as you kindly agreed to check small .ppt - I will try to reduce existing
files to a small one, and reproduce crashes with them.

| See the attached for what happens when it works!
|
| Seriously, this filter is one where someone with a modest amount of
| effort could probably make a LOT of progress in a short period of time.
| Unfortunately, that's not likely to be me in the near future...I am however

|
| Thanks, Shaheed

Thank you!
