I don't know if the kde-cvs messages will come through or are lost.

Nevertheless IMAP finally works again after several hours of work. Sorry, but 
I still don't understand, why you had to mess with the IMAP code at all so 
much. The only code that was in KMFolder was anyway simply removed completely 
which obviously broke some things and the code in KMAcctImap would probably 
still have worked there.

At least I had to move a lot of code back, because IMAP is simply also 
Account based and not only folder based if it should work properly, even if 
some design experts on this mailing list don't believe me.
I prefer a design that works, rather than a design that follows some 
unrealistic philosophies but doesn't work.
