Well, the main difference is, that unlike all other folders the transfer to 
and from IMAP folders is asyncronous.
The other issue is, that folders on the same server belong somehow together.

Well, I have learned from this issue, that I better continue to look at more 
patches than on less in the future, even if some people don't like this kind 
of project management.

Even half done patches often say much more, than just a description of the 
design.
