Version:           kmail 1.5.4, korganizer 3.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:          Linux

activating korganizer/action/"neuer Termin" or kmail/"Einstellungen/kmail einrichten" \
the programs crashed with a sigseg error. "root" was not troubled by any problems; \
strace showed theses lines:

the permissions of the fonts in question where 600 - correcting them to 644 solved \
both problems
