activating korganizer/action/"neuer Termin" or kmail/"Einstellungen/kmail einrichten" the programs crashed with a sigseg error. "root" was not troubled by any problems; strace showed theses lines:

the permissions of the fonts in question where 600 - correcting them to 644 solved both problems
