Yes, I know, the sendmail entry is not correctely copied, but that is not 
easily possibly with the current features of kconf_update.
I think most people use SMTP and there is works correctely.

It is possible to to execute a perl script which possibly can do that, but 
that's probably also that that easy and I don't know perl.

Do you have a better idea?
Well, we could also do that in the code instead of with the upd file or maybe 
we should simply force upgraders to reenter this information. It's actually 
not that much.
All transports entered in identities at least sitll work correctely.
