Hi,

I'm finally also using KDE pre-2.9.
After the first start of KMail I noticed that my sendmail config was 
gone. Instead I had an SMTP server (localhost:25) configured as 1st 
outgoing transport. That's not good because that means that if a KMail 
1.3.1- user uses sendmail as default transport then he will - like me - 
end up with a "random" SMTP server as first transport and his sendmail 
config will be lost.
So I guess the kmail.upd file has to be changed. The problem is that in 
the new Transport config format the path of sendmail will be stored in 
the "host" key. This must be changed because otherwise it's not easily 
possible to move the old config entries from [sendmail] to [Transport 
1]. Another problem is the value of the old "Method" key with 
corresponds to the new "type" key. The problem here is that 
"Method=mail" has to be converted to "type=sendmail" (?). Is this 
possible with an upd file?
