Good idea. I think this is what M$ does. While we are on the subject,
I have noticed that M$ Explorer evenly spaces all the icons, regardless
of the filename length. IMO, this makes it a lot easier to navigate
(since everything is nicely ordered...KFM looks pretty jumbled if you
have really long filenames.)

How could I have used KDE for so long and not know what minicli is?
Where is this feature? How does one invoke it? What is it exactly?
