Also the P4USER and P4PASSWD environment variables would be useful, although these \
are not used as often as P4PORT and P4CLIENT.

My workaround is to set the environment variables in the shell and then start \
KDevelop from that command line.  However this prevents me from launching KDevelop \
from the K menu since it doesn't record environment variables against menu items.
