Also the P4USER and P4PASSWD environment variables would be useful, although these are not used as often as P4PORT and P4CLIENT.

My workaround is to set the environment variables in the shell and then start KDevelop from that command line.  However this prevents me from launching KDevelop from the K menu since it doesn't record environment variables against menu items.
